Eagles Coffee Club (Men's Group)
Veterans, retired men and working men between jobs or currently employed are invited to participate in the Eagles Coffee Club. Sometimes called The Men’s Coffee Group, this is an ad hoc group of men which meets together twice a week for coffee. Participants in the group discuss and offer advice on such diverse topics as Politics, Finance, Music, Engineering, Military Service, The History of Late 20th Century Wars, Football, Medicine, Archaeology, Cars, Electronics and Religion. Gatherings are Wednesdays and Fridays at 0900 at the Cypress Creek Randall’s supermarket. Church membership is not required. Donuts are frequently provided, but BYOC. As far as we can recall, we have solved all of the World’s problems at least once. As far as we can remember.
This same group also meets for breakfast together at 0830 on the 2nd Wednesday each month at Los Reyes Restaurant in Cedar Park. The same general agenda applies to this breakfast gathering, but you have to buy your own coffee here.
Don’t forget to wear your red shirt! Red shirts are worn on all Fridays and at the Wednesday breakfast in honor of veterans and first responders.
Young at Heart is the church’s older adult (55 and up) fellowship group. Both men and women meet on a semi-monthly basis in the Sanctuary for lunch and fellowship. An educational program is generally featured after lunch.
